Dr. Judy Moench, PhD, is a Registered Psychologist and the Canadian trainer for EMDR R-TEP, G-TEP, and STEP. She played a key role in developing the STEP protocol during the COVID-19 pandemic, helping mental health professionals and medical staff manage stress and enhance coping. With extensive experience training clinicians in trauma interventions across Canada, the U.S., Europe, and Israel, she has worked with organizations like the Department of National Defense, Alberta Health Services, and Doctors Without Borders. A former EMDR Canada President, she also coordinates the Disaster Response Network for the Psychologists’ Association of Alberta, supporting professionals in responding to recent and ongoing trauma.
