Event Description: This two-day, online, interactive workshop is designed for professionals and paraprofessionals working with individuals who may be impacted by sexual violence and who want to strengthen their skills and confidence in responding to sexual abuse and sexual assault disclosures. Every survivor deserves to feel safe, heard, and empowered, and your response makes a lasting difference.

First Responder to Sexual Assault and Abuse training equips social workers with evidence-based, sexual violence–informed approaches that enhance professional competence while supporting clients with confidence, safety, and care. Gain practical tools you can apply immediately in your practice to respond effectively, centre survivor choice, and support healing.
