Join Alberta College of Social Workers staff to learn about becoming a Registered Social Worker.

We will review the registration process in detail including: how to register, the provisional registry, annual renewal cycle and a brief introduction to our competency program and discipline process.

Speaker Bio:

Andre Tinio, BA, BSW, RSW (He/Him) - Andre is a registered social worker and holds the role of Professional Practice Associate with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW). He provides ACSW registrants with practice support, ethical consultation, and is the lead staff member for the continuing competence program. Andre also provides anti-racism facilitation and project management support to the City of Edmonton (CoE). He was also a member of the CoE’s Community Safety and Well-being Task Force and is a board member with the Edmonton John Howard Society. Andre is a proud inclusive leader and a champion for equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility in all spaces.
